BANGKOK – POPS Worldwide has named Marissa Hanafi as Thailand Head of OTT and Content. Ms. Hanafi is responsible for leading Thailand content strategy across multiple platforms, including the POPS streaming service in Thailand. She will lead creative and content strategy to ensure POPS is delivering the best and most relevant content on all our channels and platforms in Thailand. Ms. Hanafi has taken this role as of Apr 1, 2020 and will be based out of the POPS Thailand office in Bangkok.

Previously Head of Business Development at Astro Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, she was responsible for driving strategic partnerships, overseeing global content distribution and acquisition, and building new revenue streams for its kids and family business units. She also held roles in GroupM and L’Oréal where she was involved with driving consumer insights and brand management. For 2020, Ms. Hanafi hopes to support POPS with being at the forefront of media innovation, piquing its audience imagination with a myriad of premium content offerings and addressing emerging regional trends.
