I. SUMMARY:
A Video Production Editor, is responsible for reviewing audio and visual footage and using computer software to organize clips into a cohesive unit. Their duties include splitting or combining video clips, adding appropriate sounds or graphics and watching the finished product to catch mistakes before submitting it for review.
II. RESPONSIBILITIES:- Video Production:
- Assist in the creation of short videos for social media, marketing campaigns, and internal communications.
- Edit video footage, incorporating music, sound effects, and graphics.
- Ensure video content aligns with brand guidelines and overall aesthetic.
- Motion Graphics:
- Design and animate graphics for use in videos, presentations, and online platforms.
- Create eye-catching titles, transitions, and lower-thirds.
- Experiment with new techniques and styles to keep our visuals fresh.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, video production, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a professional design environment, ideally with a focus on video or motion graphics.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent software.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating your video editing and motion graphics skills.
