Strategy Manager – BAAS Business Development

I. SUMMARY:

The Strategy Manager is tasked with one of the most critical and important jobs in the team ie leading and creating brand proposals to drive new and organic business growth. The job also entails full understanding of POPS platforms, content, audience in the context of both market and brands.

II. JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

• The job responsibility requires the candidate to work closely with the BAAS Sales teams and take ownership to create strategy and direction for brand proposals and win those opportunities to drive revenue growth and, if needed, support campaign execution.
• Excellent written, spoken, and presentation communication skills
• The candidate is also required to work closely with internal teams like the content team, artist & talent team, and marketing team to ensure complete alignment and commitment
•  Tracking and calculating proposal ROI to ensure we make it profitable
• Understand the industry landscape and keep up with industry updates and insights that are important to POPS’ business and its growth 
• POPS is an evolving organization; hence the candidate should be ready to adapt to the new needs and goals of the organization
•  Report to and work closely with the BAAS VP to achieve revenue goals.

III. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 4-6 years experience in the digital media, advertising, content, or/ and brand space
• Ability to think strategically and identify and resolve brand problems in digital branded content and digital media space
• Ability to understand and appreciate the value of branded content vis-a-vis brand advertising 
• Strong presentation skills, including advanced PowerPoint skills to make presentations both internally and to clients
• Outstanding communication skills in working with both internal and external parties
• Good interpersonal skills to be able to work with multiple teams and stakeholders in a productive and constructive manner
• Existing networks with brands are a plus. Speaks and writes both Vietnamese and English.
