According to Tubefilter Charts and OpenSlate analysts (US) , there are 44 world-leading video channels. Vietnam has the only representative in the Top 100 as POPS Music.
The only Vietnamese representative to reach the Top 100 most viewed YouTube channels worldwide in March 2017 was POPS Music, which belongs to the most prestigious network in the world – POPS Worldwide.
POPS Music has over 3 million followers, 3.1 billion views on the channel with over 17,000 videos, and collaborates with most popular artists and content creators. Only in March, POPS Music achieved 166,688,164 views with over 15 million hours of viewing. POPS Music is currently considered the number one online music channel in Vietnam.
T-Series held onto its first-place position on the most-viewed YouTube channels chart for the seventh month in a row. The YouTube home for the self-proclaimed “largest music label and movie studio” in India became one of the only channels in recent memory to amass over a billion views in a month, too. The YouTube powerhouse ended the 31 days of March with almost 1.18 billion views.
Not too far behind is Ed Sheeran. The online video destination of the international pop star who calls the UK home is only the second channel in recent memory to hit 10-digit views in a single month’s timeframe. Sheeran’s all-at-once upload strategy of 14 tracks from his third and latest studio album and other relatively new massive hits (like the Lyric and Official Music Videos of his popular track “Shape of You“) helped his channel to almost 1.04 billion views in the month.
In an now-distant third place is Ryan ToysReview. The aging toddler’s repository of playtime footage and unboxing videos jumped up a modest 6% to top out at more than 760.5 million views throughout the month. Not too far behind in the #4 spot is WorkpointOfficial. The Thai media company’s outpost on the world’s largest video-sharing site shot up 58% in its monthly view count to top out at almost 721.5 million views on the month.
And rounding out the Top 5 is Canal KondZilla. Your online video destination for all the latest Brazilian pop music hits jumped up 15% to end the month with almost 698.6 million views.
