Role Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Licensing Manager to lead the commercial expansion of premium Japanese entertainment franchises in Vietnam. This role oversees the entire lifecycle of an IP—from the digital screen to the retail shelf—ensuring that brand integrity is maintained while driving massive commercial growth through promotional and merchandising licenses.
Key Responsibilities:
- IP Portfolio Management: Lead the acquisition and management of licenses for high-tier Japanese anime, music, and gaming properties.
- Merchandising Strategy: Direct the strategy for physical goods, including hobbyist model kits, figures, and apparel.
- Promotional Licensing: Identify and close high-impact collaborations with local FMCG, Telecom, and F&B partners for "Gift with Purchase" and limited-edition campaigns.
- Contractual Oversight: Navigate complex royalty structures and multi-party "Production Committee" approval workflows.
- Experience: 5+ years in foreign IP licensing specifically within the Vietnamese market.
- Industry Expertise: Proven experience handling Tier-1 Japanese media brands and an understanding of Japanese business culture.
- Commercial Skillset: Strong background in royalty reporting, sales forecasting, and E-commerce integration (TikTok/Shopee).
- Communication: Fluent in English and Vietnamese. Proficiency in Japanese is a significant advantage for direct stakeholder management.
