POPS KIDS TO LAUNCH THE POKÉMON SERIES AND THE LATEST SERIES – SUN & MOON FOR THE FIRST TIME IN VIETNAM

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, October 28th 2017 – POPS Worldwide, leading digital in Southeast Asia, officially announces the launching of renowned & loved animated series from Japan – Pokémon on POPS Kids channel. POPS Kids will also become the very first channel in Vietnam to release the latest series: Sun & Moon – the 7th series of Pokémon animated series.

Pokémon was developed by Tajiri Satoshi, a Japanese video game designer, in 1996. Pokémon later became a popular brand in the world when it was adapted into comics, animated series and different game labels. Pokémon is also an impressive and emotional name for many people, including those who have fallen in love with games, comics or animated series, and those who have never set foot in the Pokémon world. One of this is the Pokémon Go fever that has made the world go crazy in 2016.

The audiences and Pokémon fans in Vietnam now can visit POPS Kids and watch the compelling stories and characters from this world – renowned animated series from October 28th 2017. This is the result of a collaboration between POPS Worldwide and Go Go Entertainment, the copyright and image management division of Pokémon in Vietnam. And with this collaboration, POPS Kids has become the first channel in Vietnam to release the Sun & Moon – the latest Pokémon series. Sun & Moon is also being shown at leading markets such as Japan, USA and Europe at the same time. This proves that POPS Kids is now becoming a channel for the release of new and exciting entertainment products around the world. Besides Sun & Moon series, POPS Kids has also been licensed to release the Black and White series on the digital platform.

Hundreds of episodes of Pokémon with Vietnamese-dubbing version will be shown on POPS Kids on October 28, 2017 which include four seasons: 14, 15, 16 and 20 of two series: Pokémon Black & White and Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon.
