MAJOR FUNCTION (state in one short sentence why the job exists)
We are looking for a Japanese-speaking Coordinator to support communication and coordination between our internal teams and Japanese clients or partners. This role will focus on translation, interpretation, and ensuring smooth, culturally appropriate communication across projects.JOB DESCRIPTION:
Client Communication Support:- Act as a liaison between Japanese clients and internal teams.
- Interpret during meetings (online and offline) between Japanese and Vietnamese/English-speaking teams.
- Translate business documents, emails, meeting notes, and presentations between Japanese and Vietnamese/English.
- Assist in scheduling, organizing, and following up on meetings with Japanese stakeholders.
- Support the team in collecting and clarifying client requirements (with Japanese clients).
- Track and follow up on deliverables based on team input and timelines.
- Ensure internal team members understand client feedback and requests clearly.
- Maintain proper documentation and records in both Japanese and English.
- Help internal teams understand Japanese business etiquette and cultural nuances.
- Ensure smooth, respectful, and effective collaboration with Japanese stakeholders.
REQUIREMENT:
- A minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Producer, Project Manager, or in a similar
- Proficiency in Japanese (N2 or above), with strong skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently and in a team.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- English proficiency.
- Experience in customer service, admin, or coordination roles.
- Understanding of Japanese working culture and etiquette.
