A True ‘MadMen’ at heart, passion for creativity and instincts, Bani commenced on his adventures in FCB Malaysia as a Junior Art Director.

Working alongside numerous creative genius and strategic meastros in J Walter Thompson and McCann Erickson over the years allowed for an ascent up the corporate chain, leading him to the position as Creative Director at Publicis.

Throughout the years, he has won numerous accolades local and international creative awards and worked on world renown FMCG clients such as L’Oreal regional, Garnier, Coca-Cola, Nestlé and Maxis Telecommunications and many more.

A game changer came in early 2000 to head McCann Erickson creative on Coca-Cola and YUM’ Pizza Hut base in Jakarta.

More awards and strong business growth later, Bani have decided to move to Bates Asia Indonesia- a WPP company.

Two years later came a twist whereby Momentum Worldwide (McCann World Group) tasked him to lead the Activation and Experiential business. This time…more awards…MARKETING EFFECTIVENESS awards on Unilever, Guinness etc.

Next destination was Publicis Thailand after nearly a decade in Indonesia. Bani led all Nestlé businesses, accounting for nearly 50% in total agency revenue.

Two years later, he took on the Managing Director role in Geometry Global (WPP-G2, OgilvyAction & JWTAction combined to form the world largest activation agency).

A 3rd career game changer came in 2015, a regional role with a global startup-Thoughtful Media.

In 2019, Bani joined POPS Worldwide as Regional Director for Thailand and SEA markets. Since then, the growth has been 3-5X outpacing market growth year after year and counting.

Last but not least, setting up POPS Indonesia remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In Mar 2023, he was promoted to Chief Growth Officer for his outstanding achievement, contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
